OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Hey. Haven’t put much on here lately but I’ve been doing loads of preparation regarding some radio shows and have been using most of my high non-stop source of creative power doing that. However the rest of my life hasn’t stopped, which is why I’m releasing this official Statement.

If you’ve been keeping up to date with my business you will probably know that in March I had a mad week. Part of it was hearing that Community Radio Swindon got its licence, and that I’m now officially an uncle, along with many mad antics going on that week. I also had another bit of news about two days after but I had to keep that secret. I can tell you now though.

Now at the moment I have only told a few people but they are not in any order and I haven’t told these people in particular for any reason. These were sort of random people and I just wanted to keep it low profile so if you don’t know yet then you know now that I’m going to be a dad!!!! Caroline and I are well over the moon!!! Caroline is now around 13 weeks however we have not had an official ETA as she’s not had a scan yet but she will be having one early May, and when she does I’ll let you know the details.

If our calculations are correct the baby will be due Late October/Early November (Around the time we started going out 2 years ago). We’ve kind of decided on a girls name that’s kind of been doing the rounds in a popular song currently in the charts but we haven’t decided on a boys name as we haven’t heard one we both like. Suggestions have been coming in though.

My dad informed me that I was nearly called Christian… Didn’t know that, I thought it was nearly Mark… But then again a while ago I was told they was expecting me to be a girl with the name Crystal lined up… and when they saw me they had to change their mind (My dads no relation to Johnny Cash) but they saved that name for my sister Crystal who eventually came out in 1992.

Another name that was suggested was by Rich. He said Christopher. Hmmm… like that would go down well in school when the class register is read and Winnie the Pooh is referenced when the teacher calls out for “Christopher Robinson” Slightly different to “Christopher Robin” but it’s a piss taker.

I liked the name we found in the book. It was “Crash” so would be “Crash Robinson”. but “CRASH!!!” (The sound) usually accompanies the name “Robinson” somewhere as Robinsons seem to have the tendency to make things go “CRASH” in a fit of anger or just for the fun of hearing the “CRASH”. You know when one of us is around when you hear a yelp of “For F*&% Sake” then a “CRASH”. So Caroline thinks calling our child “Crash” if it was a boy has “Robinson Written all over it”. However Caroline thinks that it sounds like a cat’s name so it’s not on the list.

I am really up for the name “Crash” but then again I usually am like that with things sometimes. I was trying to think of a name for the band I’m in (Ok well I’m supposed to be in a band with no name with my cousin and learning the keyboard) and I came up with “The Tramp Sackers”. You can’t sack (Fire/un-employ) a tramp from being a tramp so that made sense. A good band name would be Finnigan though (Nameing your band after Judy Finnigan from Richard and Judy)

Anyway I’m sure I’ll be updating this a bit more now as this will probably be my output for a while as I’m rather busy. Off to bed now. C u L8r
